iPod shuffle (2nd generation) song capacity

iPod shuffle (2nd generation) is available in 1 GB and 2 GB capacities. The 2 GB model can hold up to 500 4-minute songs in 128-kbps AAC format.

Issue

Customers using the 2 GB model with iPod software 1.0.3 may notice that iTunes displays a 480 song maximum in the Settings tab when the iPod is connected to iTunes as shown below:

Solution
